Dear E,
If your situation is as serious as you described, you should go to the police and ask them for assistance. It sounds like your possessions are being stored off campus, so contact the city police, not the campus police. If your goods are being kept on campus, then go to the campus police. Are you talking about NIU? Or WIU?
You don't have to press charges, but let the police know all the things that are going on. In this case it would be best not to warn the ubfin that you are coming. Do not answer the phone if they are trying to call you. Don't answer the door either. Just go to the police station and tell what is going on, and they will probably take you to the place immediately. They should offer to accompany you to the place where your possessions are being kept. Please don't go back there without the police.
We are sorry to hear about your situation, but it is not unique. There are many stories of ubfKoreans threatening American students. There are even a couple of cases in Chicago where the ubfins went to the student's home and threw bricks through the windows and glass doors. There are numerous cases of assault, and infinite times there were threats of battery. There is a documented case of a ubfKorean committing a sexual assault against a Canadian woman, but she did not go to the police quickly enough so they did not anything.
After the police help you to retrieve your items, you may have to get a restraining order to keep them away for good. Sorry, but that is how hard it can be to leave a cult. They want you, they want to control you, you are not free to leave.
Please go to the police right now. If you don't mind, please let us know the outcome. God bless you.
