My sugegstions:

1.You will be allowed to spend your free time recruiting, attending meetings, preparing to attend meetings, or guilty for not spending your time preparing for meetings.

Change:
1. In UBF, your sole purpose in life is our cult activity.

2. You will have the opportunity to give us all your available money as �thanksgiving� offerings.

Change:
2. Your money is ours, but you may call it a "thanksgiving" offering.

3. You will be discouraged from seeing non-UBF �chosen� people including your family and friends.
5. You will be strongly discouraged from making
friends with any members of the opposite sex.
6. We will take away your burden of having to choose
for yourself what to study, where to live, and who to
marry.

Sum it up in one:
3. We decide your friends, your living place, your job and your marriage partner.

4. You will be allowed to use your vacation time to attend UBF conferences and prepare very personal life stories to share with complete strangers.

Make it a bit more cynical:
4. You can prove your faith by sharing your most intimate secrets at conferences with complete strangers who will relate them in letters to other strangers all around the world.

7. We are sure that this is the best Christian group
on campus and possibly the face of the earth.

Make it like UBF would say it:
5. We are the only group on earth really dedicated to doing God's will, which is to recruit more people for our group.

Just suggestions.
