Hello Amy.. We don't really know each other very well,
but I was with Jamie in Russia in 1997, and I believe
that you were in State College for David & Jennifer Lemmon's wedding back in 1994, correct?

Anyway, I am both surprised and gladdened by your boldness
in showing up at the MSU conference this year. I too
showed up, but for purely personal reasons.

On a side note, I was telling my therapist today that it
felt a lot different to "attend" the conference without
really participating. I don't have anything against study-
ing the Bible, but I always did have panic attacks when
it came to the extremely hectic lifestyle of the "UBF
shepherd", running around like a chicken without a head.
And don't get me started on the OVERSEAS conferences!!
Colnel Helen R. had us marching pretty well in line.

God bless,

David B.
