Subject: I was a wreck too

In our chapter, I tried to do it all. I wrote testimony every week, led and attended Bible studies, leaders meetings that dragged on and on and went and fished and fed sheep consistently. This wasn't so bad. What really put me over the edge was the director calling at all hours of the day or night wanting me to come and do odd jobs for him most of them either meaningless or personal well into the wee hours of the morning. Not only that, at a whim he would change his mind making hours of work irrelevant.

Add to this working full-time, going to school part time to be a Ph.D. shepherd, and attempting to take care of the needs of young children, all the while living so as to be financially sacrificial with time and money to the ministry. I started having dizzy spells and often felt like I was going to faint.

Once, I had to make the program for a wedding in which the UBF VIPS would be in attendance. Three or four times I redid the programs well into the morning to meet his changing criterion. Then at 4AM he decides it would be better to make the names of the UBF VIPS bigger so he wanted me to do it again. I lost it. I really felt like I was melting down from the complete lack of respect, consideration or understanding. It was the worst time of my life.
