I had a nose job. It destroys much more than resonance. It destroys your breathing, and can destroy your sleep. It is a MAJOR TRAUMA to the body and the craniofacial bones. Singing will never feel as good again, and neither will you. These surgeries should be banned. Please, take care of yourself. The nasal bones connect to the maxilla, and if you have any moderate jaw misalignment, this surgery can freeze you into a bad situation with your jaw. It also will not make you more beautiful. Look at photos of stars who have had nose jobs.....they were far more wide eyed, healthy, and younger looking beforehand. Anna Moffo was a famous opera singer who became very overweight after her surgery, and struggled with her voice and career from that point on. You can hear the change in her recordings. Personally, I've become overweight, too, because I now have a sleep apnea and overeat from exhaustion. I was always rail thin before the surgery.
