I have access to both boards and I was reading both today, for the first time in quite some time. I had both screens up when I wrote the message.
I felt it would be more appropriate for the Celebrity Obits board because it is about a health issue. I typed it with the intention of posting it THERE.
However I got a "bad password" message. They are different so I typed in the other one, without thinking. Then the message ended up on THIS board.
A few months ago I replied on the other board to a message from someone who was ill. Sadly she took my reply the wrong way. I was truly sorry but I meant no harm. I apologized. I will not identify the person but I don't recall her posting here, at least I don't see her now.
There is a lot of flaming on the other board and there are a lot of people I don't care for. But I used to find the information interesting so I would visit there. My full-time job (I won't say what because people would then KNOW me) has taken a lot of my time. I have spent little time on the computer lately.
This afternoon I was doing clean-up and I saw this board and the Celebrity Obits board on my list of favorite places. I clicked them both for the first time in ages.
Again, Tommy and others, if you don't like my anonymity then please do not pay any mind to what I said.
If you don't mind it, then please read it and then decide how you feel.
It is one person's experience but I find it disturbing to say the least.
