Subject: Globe Magazine has little or no credibility. Everyone knows that. People buy it as a work of fiction. I assume some wipe their hineys with it.

The Enquirer is by far the best of the mass-market national tabloids. They verify their sources scrupulously and are accurate most of the time about people who are seriously ill. Yes they have been wrong on occasion and have been sued from time-to-time. But they are by far the best and also by far the most read.

If you call the Globe and tell them you were just abducted by an alien or you just stopped off at a gas station and Elvis Presley served you, they would probably buy your story.

I have issues with the media sometimes and I feel that the political stuff can be slanted, depending on whom you watch.

However it is interesting that nobody has picked up on the Obama story which is in the upper left of the current issue. Neither his friends nor his foes.

Does that not tell you something about the credibility of the Globe?

If you want to visit their website and see the current cover, you can do so at www.globemagazine.com.

Chck out the Oprah headline. Look underneath the word CULT and you see, in the tiniest of letters, "friends fear."

They charge $3.49 for the garbage they put out.

I suggest that it is better to donate that amount to a charity of your choice than to read the preposterous stories they come up with.

Now if you'll excuse me, I just saw a flying saucer in my backyard and I need to call the Globe to let them know.
