Subject: Where does Barack Hussein Obama stand on the abortion issue? Or, for that matter, any other issue?

In reply to: I am not "Well" but ..... 's message, "It does not take psychic powers to realize that politicians make promises that they do not keep. ("Read my lips" if you don't believe this.) McCain is a Republican and I do not trust him. I think Roe V. Wade will be in trouble if he gets in." on Mon, March 17, 2008 1:00:12

I have heard so many inconsistencies in Obama's speeches.

He certainly can talk that talk but I am sure he will not be able to walk that walk.

It takes experience.

Hillary knows the White House. Lived there for eight years.

I am certain she shared many of Bill Clinton's decisions and helped him.

She is arguably the most powerful first lady this country has ever seen.

Her offering Obama the VP slot was a stroke of genius, for this reason.

She KNEW he would refuse.

But now she is totally off the hook.

She really did NOT want him.

Now, after she gets the nomination (which she will after the Super Delegates push her over the top) she will say "well, I offered it to him and he turned it down."

Obama may be a good candidate IN THE FUTURE but, yes, I am concerned about his Muslim ties.

He is all style and very little substance.

Be honest now .....

What has he done in the Senate?

The thing he seems to be best at is missing votes. That takes a lot of courage, right?

Though I am not Jewish, I have many Jewish friends. And they are all concerned that he did not absolute reject Farrakhan. His measured response to the debate question was unacceptable to all of them.

One of them (his first name is Fred, which I will mention because he will read this) told me that he was an Obama supporter until he heard his answer in that debate. Now he says "I am going to vote for Hillary."

I am not going to change your mind if you are set on Obama.

However my personal feeling is that he is the WEAKEST of all the Democratic candidates who sought the nominiation.

I think John Edwards would have made a great president and I wish that Al Gore had chosen to run.

He was the rightful President-elect but, thanks to Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris (I don't wish her ill health but I also have NO respect for her) Dubya fraudulently got in.

We are all poorer because of that.

I honestly believe that Hillary is the ONLY candidate who would defeat McCain.

Keep in mind that Barack Hussein Obama won several states by having Republicans vote for him. They know full-well that if Obama is the nominee, McCain will get a free pass.

If Hillary gets it (and she will) it is going to be a close election, but she will win.

By the way .....

Hillary won Florida FAIR AND SQUARE. Those votes should count.

There should be no do-over.

The voters got it right the first time.

You go Girl!
