In reply to: doris 's message, "who are the two ladies with guitars on the celebrity bituaries board? i am curious. rock and roll singers?" on Sat, February 16, 2008 4:49:31

i read on the other board that steve fossitt, who disappeared, has now been declared dead.

i guess that means that it is possible, though unlikely, that he could still be found alive.

wasn't it mark twain who said that the reports of his death were exaggerated?

i guess he isn't the only one who supposedly "died" but was brought back to life.

has it been determined that slim wittman, the singer, is alive? i read that he died and then i saw that someone suggested he was alive. what is the story?

i remember they announced that bob hope had died on the floor of congress, but he was still alive at that time.

i am trying to think of others who have supposedly died but really were alive. i know there are some but my brain doesn't work good on the weekend.

also, i am recovering from a bout with bronchitis this week. the bronchitis was winning for a while but i am feeling better.

interesting about abraham lincoln by the way. i have heard that he was actually part jewish. i don't know if the person who posted that was joking but i think it may be possible. who knows?

i have not written in a while so i posted this and one other one. i am going to lie down. i am not totally over my ailment but i am getting there.
