Subject: okay, maybe i'm paranoid, but i think obama and clinton could wind up giving the presidency to mccain Author: doris [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Mon, February 18, 2008 5:37:52 i hope i am wrong but i think the squabbling is getting nastier and nastier. i also think that if hillary clinton gets the nomination, many black people will simply not vote. i am not saying they would vote for mccain, but by staying away that could tip the balance in favor of mccain in states that are close. i am also not sure how barack obama would do in the general election. the problem is that right now the republicans have a candidate, flawed as he is. they have a big head start. the democrats might not have a candidate until the convention and, if it takes that long, things can get nasty. it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that hillary clinton is fighting to get delegates in the two states where they were not allowed. this is the sign of both desperation and a sore loser. she would not be so quick to see those delegates count had barack obama won them. well i hope i am wrong. i surely do not want mccain but in my heart i think we may wind up getting him because of what is going on. i may be dumb doris to some of you, but i don't think i am really all that dumb when it comes to worrying about all this.
