Since it is the New York Times bringing the stuff up about McCain's possible impropriety, I take it with the tiniest grain of salt.

But it got me to thinking?

What if McCain had to drop out, because of this or health reasons or any other reason?

At this stage of the game, who would they put up?

Huckabee?

Romney?

Guiliani?

One would have to assume that if McCain bowed out, Romney and Guiliani would throw their hats back in the ring for sure?

Well, okay, it's not going to happen, but I always look for something to think about.

When I post again, I'll give my name as "My one more cent." Then you can take my three posts (My two cents, My extra two cents, My one more cent) and tell me that what I have to say ain't worth a plug nickel.

Oh, one more thing .....

Maybe I misunderstood Tommy. I don't think by his comment he meant that Chris Matthews should have a stroke. I apologize if that is the case.
