Subject: Shockwave #1

Phenom is at home watching TV. The commercial for Shockwave comes on he looks on as the TV lights up the dark room. Angel walks by and sits down

Angel: You still up?

Phenom: Yeah.

Angel: Try not to stay up too late You gotta be at the gym tommorow, not too mention at the Shockwave Week Extravaganza to sign autographs

Phenom: So glad they hold this thing in Philly every year Don't think I could get on a plane and fly to Anaheim or something.

Angel: I guess.

Angel embraces Phenom

Angel: Come to bed Honey

Phenom: In a minute.

Angel walks up the staircase

Angel: Don't be too long.

Angel disappears intot he room as Phenom continues to watch TV as The Shockwave pregame show is in full swing. After a while Phenom turns it off and goes upstairs to bed.

Gym

Phenom walks into the Gym and meets up with his Trainer Alise (a very beautiful rock solid girl yet still feminine)

Phenom: What's up Sarge

Alise: Don't play, we've got work to do

Phenom: Where do we start

Alise: How about the Medicine Ball

Phenom: Fine.

Phenom sits on a bench and begins to do sit ups while throwing a 14 pound ball back and forth to Alise.

Alise: So i have't seen you in the past few days

Phenom: Eh the road, you know how it is.

Alise: Yeah, you been gettingany work in?

Phenom: Not really, I've been wrestling for a few days straight, they gave me a chance to rest up for the PPV. Did you get the tickets we sent?

Alise: Of course. Chaz and I will be there.

Phenom: Fabulous.

Alise: They got you working two matches that night. Chaz says you can do it, I think Pheonix is crazy.

Phenom: Well Chaz is correct, I can do this and I will do it. No reason why I shouldn't walk out with all my belts around my waist.

Alise: Nobody seems determined.

Phenom: So were PhantomLord, Sex, The Crippler, The Icon, Venom, and Ensign Pheonix. They were all detrimined. Same result, I still had the belt.

Alise: Yeah but you got two matches that day.

Phenom: Like that's even a match. Ensign Pheonix and The Black Flame. I mean if there's a such thing as a guarantee at Shockwave it's that me and Nobody'll walk out with those belts.

Alise: Always confident.

Phenom: Of course I am.

Phenom sits up and throws the ball to Alise and hits the weights. Alise puts on 300 pounds total as Phenom begins to bench press.

Phenom: The problem is that all these guys in the back seem to think that I'm finished. or I'm coasting or soemthing, just cause I've been here for a really long time, since The Promotion Opened. I've seen 'em all come and go but at the end of the day, I'll still be around doin what I do.

Alise: Come on, up!

Phenom pushes the weight up and down

Phenom: I'm 23, I'm fast, I'm smart, and Shockwave is the biggest PPV of 'em all. If they think I'm not gonna go out there and shine brighter than any star on the planet then they're sadly mistaken.

Alise: Come on, up!

Phenom pushes the weight up and down

Phenom: I mean I know that I'm the best in this buisness, but I guess sometimes I have to prove it to those who don't know. And that's excatly what I plan on doing first to The Higher Powers. Then to Nobody.

Alise: And time

Phenom puts the weight back on the rack sits up and wipes his face.

Alise: You breakin a sweat?

Phenom: Looks that way

Alise: Good. Dumbells

Phenom begins to lift some more weights

Phenom: Look at that peek. Scott's gonna be jealous soon

Alise: Please Scott's arm is bigger than your whole body.

Phenom: Have you heard from him.

Alise: Not since Raw was here a few weeks back.

Phenom: Tell him to gimme a ring next time he's this way.

Alise: Sure will

Phenom completes his weight regimen as he hits the treadmill and he puts in his Audioslave CD and listens to it. He runs on the treadmill for a while and then heads towards the locker room.

Locker Room

Phenom is getting himself situated in the locker room as a few guys approach him

Guy 1: Hey aren't you Phenom.

Phenom: Yeah

Guy 1: Dude can I get an autograph

Phenom: Sure man. You got a pen

Guy 1: Yeah

Phenom starts to sign the guys autograph

Guy 2: What brings you down this way

Phenom: Just a quick workout you know how it is.

Guy 2: Yeah.

Phenom: You guys gonna order Shockwave

Guy 3: Are you kiddin! You and Nobody, that's gonna be a classic.

Guy 2: Yeah man, me and My boys here got a bet goin.

Phenom: Yeah whats that

Guy 1: Well these guys seem to think Nobody's gonna get the win me ont he other hand got my money on you.

Phenom: Smart Man, looks liek you're gonna be rich.

Guy 2: It was nice meeting you though.

Phenom: Likewise, you three be safe.

Phenom leaves the locker room

Parking Lot

Phenom is gettign ready to get in his car as his cell Phone Rings he picks it up

Phenom: Yeah

Caller: Mike Sherman, Wrestling observer.

Phenom: How did you get this number?

Caller: I'm a reporter, thats what I do.

Phenom: What do you want?

Caller: Just a statement.

Phenom: Fine.

Caller: Well At Shockwave you and Nobody are making history by being the first two men to wrestle twice at Shockwave. How do you like your chances against The Higher Powers? Do you think that your main event match against Nobody will effect you two's performance against Ensign and The Black Flame.

Phenom: Eeryone's been asking me that. The answer is no. Nobody and I aren't friends, there are a lot of bad things I can say about him, but two good things I can say is that he's smart and I'd like to think he's professional. I don't think Nobody or I would risk Sabatoging the other to get an advantage in The World I
Title Match. We're both competitors and we'll turn whatever fire we have onto Ensign and The Black Flame.

Caller: Do you think a match with two such high profile athletes will drain the two of you by the time it gets to the main event?

Phenom: You say it like Ensign and The Black Flame are Hall and Nash or Hawk and Animal or Kaz and Kyler Storm. Good athletes yet but this is their first time teaming up me and Nobody have been champs for a little while now and if he does his job we'll be champs when we walk out

Caller: And then you have to be his opponent.

Phenom: Yeah so

Caller: Do you think that you're numbers up that The Pheonix Promotion is headed into a new era and that Nobody is the man to lead that era. Are you a shadow of a bygone era

Phenom: You're very elequent for a Wrestlign Reporter. And The Answer's no. I've been here three years I've seen it grow and change and I've seen 'em all come and go they've always tried to find someone to replace me and no one has been able to do it yet. They stand in front of me and I knock them down. I'll knock Nobody down at Shockwave. He'll meet saint peter and I'll be World Champion when it's all set and done. End of story. You can print all of that

Caller: I'll be sure to.

Phenom gets into his car and drives away.
