Subject: Icon, Venom, Phenom (Blaze #1)

{At a Pheonix Promotion House Show, a maniacal giggle is heard over the PA. A strong voice whispers “The Madness is Back!” and “Wait n Bleed” hits over the speakers. The crowd gets on their feet as pyros boom throughout the arena and flames shoot out of the ringposts. Through the smoke at the top of the ramp walks NoBody. The crowd erupts in cheers as he heads down to the ring and calls for a mic.}

NoBody: Now ain’t this some shhhhhhhhh…..it! Two weeks ago, at Disturbance, myself and three other mothercluckers stepped into this very ring and battled it out for the richest prize in our industry, the Undisputed World Championship! Well, let me rephrase that. At Disturbance, there were four of us in the ring, but only two people, myself and Phenom, actually battled it out. Venom and The Icon, those two nothings were just there to get their asses handed to them by me, over and over and over again!

{Crowd pops}

NoBody: It’s true, Phenom won the match. I even got my shoulders pinned by the lucky bastard. But the fact is that I was tired. I was worn down from kicking the hell out of three people, and Lord knows that Venom and The Icon didn’t help me wear down Phenom any. I know me and Phenom’ll meet in this ring for that belt sometime soon, and there won’t be anyone else to distract me, and I will walk out the new Undisputed World Champion!

{Crowd roars}

NoBody: But that’s not what’s bothering me right now. It’s not Phenom, or that title, but instead it’s those two little pricks who messed up a perfectly good title match, Venom and The Icon. We all know Venom’s story. The guy is a waste of flesh, a man all about the almighty dollar. He lives for the glitz and glamour, not the glory. And that’s why he’s always coming up short in the ring, whether it’s losing to Vic Vegas or getting his ass handed to him in the Fatal Fourway at Disturbance. Now Venom’s trying to make a name for himself by running his mouth on me. But Venom, you’ll soon find out that when you try and front on NoBody, you get The Madness hungry, and it will consume you!

{Crowd starts chanting Madness}

NoBody: But the worthless piece of trash I want to talk about tonight isn’t Phenom or even Venom, it’s The Icon. Who in the hell is The Icon? I remember back in the day the guy was just a lackey for The New World Order. Then he was just trying to live off the name of his brother, Nightmare. Now what the hell is he? He didn’t even bother to train for the title match at Disturbance, didn’t even make an appearance until the match itself. And then he gets his ass kicked from ringpost to ringpost by me. So what does he do? Does he hang his head in shame, retire from this business, this business that he’s obviously not cut out for? No. Instead, the coward attacks Phenom from behind last week, trying to bait him into getting a title shot. Well listen up, Icon, that title shot, and the title itself, belong to me. You’re just not championship material, and it’s complete and total bullshit that you’d even be considered for that shot over me. Well this week, at Blaze, I will show everyone that I’m deserving of Phenom’s next title match, and not you. I will rip you limb from pathetic limb, and I will leave you in such a condition that even if Phenom is stupid enough to give you a shot at that belt, you’ll be in no shape to answer the challenge. I ran your brother out of the business for good, Icon, and he was a hell of a lot better a fighter than you, so I’ll give you a choice. You can turn tail and run like your pussy brother did, or your ass can step into this ring and get fed to The Madness. The choice is yours…

{With that, NoBody drops the mic and “Wait n Bleed” hits again on the PA. The crowd roars as NoBody raises his hands, then steps over the ropes and heads backstage.}
