Subject: On Ensign and Nightmare Pt. II

{“Wait n Bleed” is blaring through the arena at a Pheonix Promotion House Show as Springheel Jack stands in the middle of the ring. Suddenly, NoBody appears at the top of the ramp, smiling, shaking his head, and holding a mic. The crowd roars, and NoBody looks around. He then raises his hand, calling for an end to the cheers and his music.}

Rip: NoBody is standing out on the ramp! Springheel Jack is standing in the ring. Both men are staring at each other, neither will let down their gaze. This could get ugly!

NoBody: Now wait just a minute. Hold up now, boy! I know what you’re about to do and that’s challenge Ensign Pheonix to a match…

{Springheel Jack nods his head}

NoBody:…and I can’t have you doing that. Not when I want that piece of trash first!

{The crowd roars. NoBody begins to walk down to the ring, still talking as he goes}

NoBody: Ensign Pheonix, was it any surprise to me or anyone else in that locker room that when Nightmare returned, you’d be right behind him? You’ve never done anything for yourself, not a single damned thing. You always followed in others footsteps, or needed the popular opinion to show you which way to go. You surrounded yourself with a bunch of pansies with even less of a collective backbone than yourself, and that’s the only reason you were able to convince yourself you were your own man. So when Nightmare returns, after making a disgrace of himself, there you were, following right behind him, one disgrace after another. But guess what, Ensign? This company hasn’t forgiven Nightmare, and we’re damn sure not going to forgive you, either. As far as every guy in the back is concerned, the two of you are just carcasses out in this ring, stinking up the place, making it foul, and just waiting to be taken out back and buried!

{The crowd cheers}

NoBody: And it didn’t surprise anyone either that you tried to align yourself with Nightmare. You’ve never been able to go it alone, Ensign. You’ve hidden your utter lack of ability in the ring by surrounding yourself with others. And who better to team with than a fellow disgrace? That’s what you boys should call your new team, The Utter Piece of Trash Disgraces! I think it’s got a nice ring to it, don’t you?

{Crowd roars again. Springheel Jack nods in agreement.}

NoBody: And Nightmare, you’re probably in the back there, listening. That is, if you haven’t quit the company since the time my music hit. You were scared of me back then. You laid down your title, gave up your place here, all because you didn’t want me to expose you in this ring. And now you’re back, paired up with another worthless would-be warrior, and you think you deserve a chance at the World Title? You’re lucky Springheel Jack here is a true champion, and granted you a match. Now what this man said about you is true, Nightmare. You are a disgrace, and there’s not a single man in the back, or any out in these seats here, who respects you. Regardless of how any of us feel about the Champ here, we’re all going to applaud when he kicks your ass at Blaze. And I hope that your new partner decides to help you out, because I’ll be watching. If Ensign Pheonix so much as even thinks about coming to your aid at Blaze, I will be out here in a heartbeat, and I will tear the both of you apart!

{Crowd roars louder}

NoBody: Now Ensign, the rage I feel towards you pales in comparison to what I’ve got building up for Nightmare, but I’d still like to get you in this ring. I know you’re a real dipshit, and even you don’t know when you’re going to return to this company, so I’ll make it easy for you. In two weeks, at Blaze, if you show up and meet me in this ring, I’ll give you and your new boyfriend a shot at my Tag Team Titles. You don’t even have to beat me, not that you would. All you have to do is show up, get your ass handed to you by me in a sanctioned, one-on-one match, and you and Nightmare can take a shot at the Tag Team Titles. That’s what you boys want, isn’t it? You’re not just teamed up because you both happen to be disgraces, are you? I remember the two of you saying you were going to take this place by storm. Well, in two weeks, I’m giving you a chance to get that storm brewing. So what do you say, big man? Are you once again all talk, or do you have enough sack to not quit this time, but instead to take your beating like a man? I’m waiting on you, bitch!

{With that, “Wait n Bleed” hits again, and NoBody stares at the Champion. He smiles, shakes his head, and steps over the ropes. He heads up the ramp, but stops mid-way and turns towards the ring.}

NoBody: Hey Champ.

{Springheel Jack stares right back at NoBody}

NoBody: Good luck. You beat the hell out of that sorry piece of trash.

{Springheel Jack smiles and mouths “oh yeah.” The crowd roars and NoBody nods at Springheel Jack and heads backstage.}

Rip: My God! Springheel Jack and NoBody, bonded by their hatred for Nightmare and Ensign Pheonix! The Champ has called out Nightmare! NoBody has laid down a challenge to Ensign Pheonix! Will either man answer?
