Subject: Talk ends at Season Beatings

[Scene begins backstage with Smash and Ensign viewing Mr. Showtime's promo. After they are done viewing it, Smash begins to interview Ensign.]

Smash: I'm here with Ensign Pheonix to get his comments on what Mr. Showtime has said about him, come this Seasons Beatings, our come-back show. After viewing it, what kind of mindframe are you in and what do you think Mr. Showtime's is as well?

EP: I'm thrilled to come back, can't wait to defend my Excalibur World Championship, but has far as my opponent is considered, isn't it apparent how he is feeling and thinking about in our match?

Smash: For those of us that might not know, please inform us?

EP: Gladly. Mr. Showtime is terrified and jealous of me, and that's all there is to it.

Smash: Your last promo, you hardly put him down, in fact, you gave him more respect, why the putdown's?

EP: First of all, don't look at me has if I'm the bad guy here. I didn't start off with any negitive comment whatsoever about my opponent, and the second my opponent got his own air-time, he's serves a huge dose of disrespect on my plate, so I decided if that's how he wants to play it, then two can play this game. Instead of a game though, I'm simply telling the truth, as it stands.

Smash: Terrified and jealous, those are two big putdowns, any back-up or proof on it?

EP: What name did he use in his promo, besides mine?

Smash: [Thinks about it, and then it hits him.] Oh yeah, he mentioned Phenom.

EP: Now do you see where I am coming from?

Smash: In a way, but please explain alittle more for me and the others, if you may?

EP: It's one thing to say, I want your title, and I'm going to take it from you, and blah, blah, blah, and so on, but to mention Phenom's name and my past with him, regarding our encounters, that only tells me that my opponent can't face me one on one. I've been blessed to be considered the Enterprise Champ and the flag-bearer, and all he does is talk trash about it, making something sweet, into something sour, which is so low on his behalf. I take those names with a great deal of respect, pride, and honor. Having and defending the Excalibur World Championship too means a great deal to me.

Smash: Ensign?

EP: Yes?

Smash: I don't mean to cut you short, but before we left, you had mentioned that Hellcat and yourself was going to get married? Has that happen already, if not, when?

EP: Hasn't happen yet, but we are very excited about it, just counting down the days.

Smash: Will you have a private or live marriage?

EP: We're still going over that. We just want to take this one day at a time. No mistakes, just have it has perfect as possible. I, no, we know it's going to be special and magical.

Smash: What has it been like being with your friends, partners/members of the once known Rebellion stable?

EP: It's always a surprising great time with my friends. Since we have been away, I've missed the training and humor that we have all shared, but I know we'll get back to that, and work on being our best that we know we can be.

Smash: One last question

EP: Shoot.

Smash: Your the Excalibur World Champion, but now that 2003 is around the corner, and let's say the worst happens, you lose the Excalibur World Championship, do you have your eye-sight on the Pheonix's World Championship?

EP: Always. I wanted a match pitting both world champions against eachother, but I guess our boss isn't up for that now, but yeah, I would love to be the Pheonix's World Champion again.

[Scene ends with the two shaking hands, and Ensign leaving, well Smash finishes the interview. Fades out to show Ensign running up, ending it by saying...]

EP: Enough said for now, SO SAYS...ENSIGN PHEONIX!!
