Subject: The proof is in the pudding

"The crowd is settled in for a Pheonix Promotion house show. They are all packed in the arena when the lights begin to dim. The room becomes completely engulfed in DARKNESS. 'I Will Be Heard' booms out as the screen lights up."

"The crowd begins to boo as they know who is coming out to address them. The boos grow louder and louder as the entrance song continues to play. Finally, from out of the back steps Nightmare with the Pheonix Promotion World Title over his shoulder."

"He makes his way down the ramp and stops half way. He begins to look around as the fans boo him. He looks over and sees a kid holding up a "Dreams Can Hurt" sign. He makes his way over to the kid and shakes his hand. He then heads into the ring. The announcer tosses him a mic, and he begins to speak."

Nightmare: It's great to be back. You know in the time off a lot of things have happened. People have come and people have gone. But one thing remained constant. Nightmare is STILL the World Champ! I heard the comments made by my up coming opponent Vic Vegas a few days ago. I'm sure that most of you figured I would have responded sooner, but I figured why rush this. I would let Vic feel like he had something over me for a few days. Give him that false sense of confidence that he has always seemed to have about him. He talked about the advantages that he had over me. Let's see. He said he is bigger. Well that is true. He's an overgrown beast of a man. I'll give him that. He said he's stronger. That is yet to be proven. If my memory serves me correctly, and I'm pretty sure it does, I'm the one who has been around here for a year. I'm the one who has been through Hell and back, and I'm the one holding the title. So in my mind that makes me the stronger man. He also said that he is faster. Well let me remind you of lyrics of an old song. Speed Kills! It's so true. One could prove to be too fast for his own good, and that's a very bad thing. He also said that I have never faced him. Well $hit! Let's think about this for a second. Vic, you haven't faced too many people have you? I mean the only exposure that you have gotten in the past was running in and taking out guys like Nuclear Legacy from behind. I mean if that is what you or these pathetic fans who cheer you see as a champion. Then it's truly a sad day for the wrestling world. I mean, I have faced all the top men that have been in this company for the past year. You come along, hit some pussy from behind, and then all of a sudden you think you're god? I don't think so. You see in my world you have to beat the man to be the man. And right now, You're looking at THE MAN! I'm the one holding the belt. I'm the one who is in total control of the World Title. So in turn, that gives me the power. The main advantage that I do have over you is, simply put, you have been out of action since the time off. Where as I on the other hand have been keeping myself up. I have been working over in UCW. Training and forming the most powerful group of men to ever step foot inside a ring. THe Higher Powers! My creation! All of this, and you have nothing to show but some recipts from the local strip clubs where you picked up some head from .50 cent whores! I'd have yourself checked if I were you. The last thing I'd want is to pick up some exotic VD from your blood being spilled in the ring. Let's face facts Vic. You are nothign more then an overgrown ape who likes to attack from behind. Where as I am an experienced champion. I'm a skilled mat techincian, and one of the most dominate power wrestlers of our time. You really don't know what you have gotten yourself into here. Seasons Beatings, How appropriate. I just hope you are ready to get humiliated in front of the World this weekend! Everyone is used to seeing you come from behind and leave the other on their back. But at Seasons Beatings, I can personally guarentee that you will be the one looking up at me from the mat. That is if you can still see from the blood rushing in and around your eyes. I'll see you this weekend Vic. Make sure to shoot up some extra roids for this one. You're going to need them.

"Nightmare drops his mic as 'I Will Be Heard' booms out once again. He climbs out of the ring and heads up the ramp. The song continues to play as he dissappears into the back."
