In Indiana we have been served by volunteer firefighters FOREVER. All it took was a fish or chicken bar-b-q once a year to fund their needs. Now we have a Democrat in office(Hope I'm not stepping on toes!) that decides that the volunteer fire companies can now tax the people in their areas. Now we have new firetrucks, firehouses, fire cars etc,etc. One town even has an extremely large aerial truck even tho they have no buildings over two stories tall!!
But, unfortunately, we also have palaces for school buildings! Our Govenor never saw a tax he didn't like!!!
