Bob, I think that the PFD does have alot of equipment that is completely unecessary and will probably never be used (and I think a big ladder like the one you mentioned too!). I agree about schools, to a point, but in this case, we had no high school at all, so it was necessary. But actually, the issue would have been less of an issue if they had built it back when they said they were going to in 1969! In fact, my mother told me that when they moved to Prospect in 1969, the realtor, noticing my brother and me, commented to my parents that now was a perfect time to move since they would be building a new high school. Yeah right!
