Does McFarland even care about this?

I have a very hard time accepting the fact, that Colgate, Brown, Yale, and Cornell did Not support our application. The Patriot/Ivy arrangement seems to be nothing more than of face value with no deep roots of supporting each other.
Now is the time for President McFarland to act as one and personally call or visit each above President and solicit their support. Let's see if the Presidents do run their schools! This should be an 8 to 3 decision in favor of HC. This could be a very positive step in supporting the athletic department at Holy Cross.

It's over. Holy Cross, a great academic and one-time athletic beacon, lost out to Quinnipiac.

If 77s original message was correct, it is NOT over. Yale's negative vote was probably understandible for local pr reasons [i.e. among the Connecticut community]. Based on its history Cornell's was understandible. HC has no historical ties with Clarkson, St. Lawrence or Union. The 2 critical votes would be Colgate and Brown - Hopefully appeals will be made on the Presidential level - where both the Ivy & Patriot leagues CLAIM that the real decisions are made. That claim will now be tested.

Pitt65, I hope you are right but I was recently informed by someone up on the Hill that that it is very unlikely at this point. I also got the distinct impression that the efforts you mentioned are not being made. I hope I am wrong.
