The renovations were in the fieldhouse not the Hart Center. The football offices are in the fieldhouse and the claims were that fumes or whatever filtered into the offices and caused Allen's problems.

I believe Tim was pointing out that in 1975 the Fieldhouse wooden floor was covered/replaced by a rubberized floor.

Since the article indicates that the Fieldhouse floor was being worked on when Allen was exposed, Tim was asking what is the floor in the fieldhouse like now.

Can you imagine if this can be proved as a source of Dan's illness/death ?

Obviously, Dan wasn't the only person working in an office within the fieldhouse during this floor work. His assistants, office staff, probably some students, the workers/installers themselves, cleaning/janitorial personnel....

Speculation/conjecture could be endless on this.
