Has anyone out there received word yet concerning their applications for tickets to the the opening round of the NCAA basketball tournament at the Centrum next year?

Assuming you are talking about season ticket holder purchases, the money for my 4 tix were charged to my credit card, so I assume they went through. However, have not received any other paper verification from the school.

I do not know about the general ticket app process though.

General ticket applications for all 1st & 2nd round venues were available the Monday after this year's 2nd round. I think it's about a one month window for the first batch of applications. If there are enough applications, the host school will have a lottery to distribute tickets. If there aren't enough applications, whatever tickets are remaining are sold on a first come - first serve basis.

If you lost out on the ticket lottery, your credit card should be credited very soon.

If you won the ticket lottery, or had a guarantee through the school, you probably won't hear anything until the tix show up in the mail - probably early February.

I used my credit card when I filled out the application. But it was never charged. I did not know if they were going to charge me right away or only after my name was drawn. Looks like I lost out.
