If all of you complainers would put your energy into following the high/prep school sports in your area and sent in names of quality players (in their junior year and no later) to the HC staffs, they would have a massive jump on the competition. Even if you are too lazy for that, check the high/prep websites in your area for names, e.g. Cathedral High in Erie, PA and send in the names. Under the NCAA rules you can't contact but the names and high school coach names, phone numbers, address, etc. would be a BIG help...then put your wallets where your mouths are AND give to HC, that will help the recruiting budgets you talk/ complain about. We can make this happen! Let's be positive. Remember, the Ivy League started as an athletic conference...look where it is today!

I'm sure there are many on this board who have already followed your sugggestions. I am confident that with the services available that there are few if any high school/prep players who go "under the radar" however your suggestions do have merit.

Don't waste your time bird-dogging for men's hoops. These guys have their own "sources" and could care less about info you may provide them. Trust me, I know from personal experience.
