Subject: Chat with member of coaching staff

Dropped my youngest son off at HC Basketball camp yesterday and had a short chat one of the coaches. I asked him if HC was considering bringing in another recruit to replace Fingleton and he said no, they would fill that spot next year as there really is no one that HC is interested in who is still available. I then asked him about the chances of Maley (spelling?), the transfer from Northwestern, playing. He said that, to his knowledge, Maley has never contacted anyone on the coaching staff. So I guess from that that he has no interest in playing.

My son also saw Greg McCarthy, the 6'10" Center who will be a senior at Xavarian HS at HC. Greg is not attending camp nor is he a counselor. He was just working out and playing at the Hart. I believe that HC would love to get him on the team and his being there is a good sign.

does anyone have any info on greg mccarthy?he's not(yet ?)listed on insiders or rivals, and he's not on any ivy school's list on the ivy hoops board
