The max/std TAT, Nick, is usefull to find what altitude u can climb at with the weight, and actual TAT you have. The new PPAS only give us the max alt with with ISA +10. Some times it would give figures for another 4 000'...

For the pwr settings, I never use N1 (only to sync). The fuel flow give a constant IAS; 535kg/hr/eng give 250kts, 630 give 290kts and it's good at 1000' up to FL410.

That's how I see it...
