Adam had slunked around to the opposite end of the parking lot and was having a craft cigarette. He hadn't smoked in twenty seven years and now- nearing fifty- he'd suddenly found himself clinging to the habit again- as of today anyway. He was watching his little angel from his distance and dispite everything he could only see her as a little six your old cherub dressed up in party clothes like she did every New Years eve. This was the last day she would be his little girl, tomorrow brought a brand new year and a brand new name and a brand new life for his little girl. His hair was dark grey now and his tanned skin was still dark, but a little more weathered than it had been in his youth. His australian accent held strong however- that much had never changed. His sisters were over from Australia for the wedding, both of them equally proud of Alysia as everyone else. They hadn't seen her since they had taken her in with their families for the year when she was sixteen and going through rehab. He spotted Echo coming towards him and exhaled the smoke guiltily, taking a last drag before dropping the cigarette to the ground and extinguishing it. "Its for my health darlin' "

Alysia grinned fully as Malia came towards her, reaching her own ivory gloved hands to take Malias before envoloping her in a hug, ignoring Carina's protests of runing her hair form behind them. "Last words? It can;t be that bad!" She laughed a little and flashed her life long best friend a grin before stepping back and taking her hands again, biting her lip a moment before she spoke. "Actually yes, I just want to thank you for being here with me to day... I wouldn;t have gotten this far without you... and Im so proud of you mali... its been tough for you and I want you to know it means so much to me that you are here. I love you to death" Now it was her turn to get teary, but she managed to blink them back, squeezing malia's hands gently.

Tassia made her way through the crowd, that were beginning to assemble into their seats, to her son. She looked as stunning as ever in her elegant cream dress and fur coat, her dark curls swept up elegantly. She smiled to the 'Father' as she rested a hand on her son's arm, excusing them in italian and pressing a kiss to her sons cheek. "She's arrived my darling... are you okay?" Her soft italian accent laced her delicate tones as she spoke smoothly to her son, Mikey was in the crowd near by with his guest, but she had lost Marco whilst talking with Relatives. As much as they had tried to stick to the couples wishes and keep it small, in Italian families it was just an insult not to invite the whole family to a wedding- and great aunts and uncles and cousins had flown in from Italy to witness the special day.
