Subject: He shrugged a bit, a smile on his face briefly as he gazed at her for a brief moment. "I am kinda drunk." He stated honestly with a shrug, his eyes focused on her though they were glassy and glazed over. His hand slid over her leg gently, even though he had nearly gotten in a fight with a stranger the night before he was so incredably tender and gentle with her. He adored her and it was obvious that even though he was sinking into this pit of self hatred he still loved her with every fiber of his being.

  • Her features softened a little at that and she scooted her stool a few inches closer to him, her hand rubbing a slow circle over his back, slight smile touching her full lips. "I kinda noticed... How's that working out for you?" Her head tilted slightly, eyes gently narrowed - the last thing she wanted was him drunk and wallowing in self-pity because she could only imagine that horrible thoughts that he might entertain in that overactive mind of his.
