Subject: He had found himself out here - none of his friends could seem to relate, and that sucked. He was sure she was getting all sorts of support from her girls, and he felt like a real jackass right now. He sat alone at the bar, nursing a stiff drink, his fourth or fifth - it was time to get plastered and totally obliterated. He didn't feel the need real often, but tonight he did. His shoulders hunched toward the bar, he ordered up another as he was getting near the end of this one, and he didn't want to run dry.

  • She looked up from across the bar, her eyes meeting his for a second before her brow furrowed and she looked down. He was the one who told her she was an embaressment in a public place. She wouldn't want to shame him again in such a public place as a bar so if he wanted to talk to her, he could approach her. She wasn't going to go crawling to him.
