You live in this world of what ifs, what if we hadn't broken up before, what if you had stayed with Arista, what if we had had the baby..." She shook her head yet again, keeping her voice deliberately low as to not 'embaress' him again. "This is all about you Kevin. He went quiet, listening to her for a good long time, and calculating, putting much thought into what he was going to say, but he couldn't think of anything to say that wouldn't sound like desperate denial of what she was saying - it wasn't like that at all, or the way he saw it it wasn't, anyways, he just sorta thought along the lines of "and baby makes three", and all that good thing.
