• He stood quietly at her side throughout the questioning - ignoring anything directed at him with the duck of his head and simple silence. At the final inquisition, he listened in but his features showed no change and he said nothing still as he just ushered her inside and away from the chaos. He didn't know what to say though, or even if it was worth it - their entire relationship was based on lies. What was one more? "I'll take your coat..." • She gazed at him with a soft furrow to her brow, her eyes searching his for a brief second before she just resigned herself to the fact that sometime she was going to have to explain what had indeed happened with Ethan, if he even wanted to hear it. After time something like this happened she found herself thinking that this time,it was going to be over, he was going to tell her to hit the road. Her eyes dropped over him slowly before she shrugged off her jacket and handed it to him with a murmured thanks. He questioned, as was typical - because everything was always all about her when they were out - as he lead the way slowly over to the bar to get them some drinks. His curiosity was piqued, but he really just didn't feel like talking about anything along those lines tonight. She kept her voice low, her head ducked so that only he could hear her. "Do you have anything with you?" Anything illegal was the real question there, perferably a little bit of coke. • He remained standing, close to her, one arm draped around her shoulders and his other elbow resting on the bar while he ordered there drinks. At her question, he gave her a gentle squeeze and cocked a brow. "I'm willing to bet we're not talking about tylenol." He teased lightly and waited till their drinks had arrived before he popped out his pack of laced smokes and handed her one, then lit it up for her - he knew it wasn't her preference, but it was all he had on him right now thanks to having to deal with airport security and all that. Slight disappointment lined her features at the smoke but she took it anyways, lighting it off of his zippo before she spoke again. "Thanks...for being cool about everything." It was rare that he got a thank you from her for anything but she was feeling slightly appreciative over everything about him right now - their loose relationship worked well when they weren't screaming at each other and just the way he dealt with the statement about Ethan and everything...she appreciated it all. With a quiet sigh, his gaze lingered over her features for a long moment before finally drifting away to slowly take in their surroundings and the people around them. He recognized most of the faces but saw no one he was really interested in chatting with - but he wasn't much of a social person when he moods like this - so just waited until she saw someone that she wanted to talk to.   • "Whatever you want..." He assured her quietly, rubbing his eyes with the back of one hand - at first glance, he was just another typical celebrity. His warddrobe cost the price of a small car, his hair - though a little rough around the edge because of a couple months without a trim - was well-styled and those baby-blues cool and confident. Upon closer inspection though, he was more clearly the troubled soul of a stereotypical musician - brows more often than not furrowed in thought, eyes tired and red-rimmed, tracks lining his arms beneath the long-sleeved back button-up that he wore. • She paused a moment, her brow furrowed gently as she tried to maintain her usual cool composed appearance but she couldn't turn around to face him yet. All she could think about was going everything she had eaten and how it could have hung on her frame and caused her to be this massive blimp of a person she was now. If everyone else was noticing it, it had to be bad. Her shoulders shook in a deep sigh before she pursed her lips and furrowed her brow gently, still waiting to see what he had to say. • "Let's go. We'll stop off at Matty's, then go home and chill." He spoke quietly as he came up behind her, hands moving to knead her shoulders for a moment, before he slipped one hand into hers and tugged her slowly after him towards the coat check so they could leave. He didn't want to be here anyway, and she was in some sort of mood - he could pretty much figure that she didn't really want to be there right now either. He didn't wait for her response, just leaned over the counter and chatted with the girl manning it as she tracked down their jackets - if they stormed out, people were sure to talk.
