He was about done with his brooding, it was hard to get into a good sulk with a bunch of people chatting and laughing in the distance, especially when he knew those people had food and beer. So, almost reluctantly, he stood up and headed up the beach to where everyone was. As he got closer to the fire, the flames danced this way and that, revealing the oh so familiar planes of Joce's face. He paused for a moment, his brow furrowed, remembering Jake's words about her being to smart for him...apperantly, she wasn't all that smart if that was the case. A low breath escaped his lips as his hand ran over his face and he composed himself, heading up to the fire. "You are an ass." He told Jake bluntly though he smirked and pushed at his cousins shoulder as he leaned back behind him to get a beer and a sandwich before making his way over to Joce's side, plopping down on the sand next to her. She looked pretty damn cute in his opinion, all fresh and clean looking, almost wild but then that wild vision was tamed by the little boy curled up in his lap. His eyes were thoughtful, as he gazed at her, taking in the sight and putting it into his memory to think about later. "Hey." He stated softly, casually, a smile on his face - not hiding the fact that they were familiar.
