He ran his tongue over the backside of his upper teeth absently, tipping his head to regard her once again. “I have a party I am supposed to be going to in a little while, but some time could be killed drinking.” He smirked, his hand shifting to pat his pocket to make sure his wallet was there before he nodded a bit. “Why not?” He wasn’t really a dancer, he just wanted to get some drinks in him so he would stop being so god-blessed tense. He wasn’t sure what was wrong, if he had slept on the wrong side of the bed, gotten up on the wrong side of bed or what but he was just plain grumpy that day. He brushed a piece of imaginary lint off his shirt before he reached into his shirt pocket, pulling out a pack of Kamel Red’s and lit one up before he remembered his manners and held the pack open towards her. “Cigarette?” So he didn’t like the way she dressed or the way she acted or her name…didn’t mean he wouldn’t be polite. He had been raised very well and boarding school had done good by him - he could handle himself perfectly in any social situation. It had also made him a bit…judgmental as they were thinking. It was just that he had been surrounded by a certain class of people his whole life, people who looked, talked and acted all the same. So, when he was down here, he was very far away from his type of people and a little out of his natural setting so instead of being friendly, he was coolly polite. Not rude, never rude, that would be bad for his image. Instead he just cocked a brow, waiting for her to answer.
