(She gratefully accepted another drink, toasting him teasingly. She nodded as he spoke about Jake, she had tried pushing him from her mind but it hadn't worked.. she was worried about him, but she also knew there was nothing she could do about his situation and planned on getting drunk enough that the party could erase the worries.. her past attempts at drinking away problems had worked, so more power to her she supposed.) I don't mean to sound condescending.. (She bit her lower lip, then shrugged.) But I am going to anyways.. Why would you hang out with my brother? (Her brother was a great guy.. when he wasn't in jail.. or doing the things that Jake did.. but at least Jake had fun. This guy just didn't fit into their circle somehow.) I mean, you look like you should be at some posh party, drinking that scotch with people who sniff their scotch before the drink it, and arrive in limoseines and - (She rolled her eyes, laughing a little.) Wait a minute... you're not just humoring me are you? (She was genuinely teasing him, playfully pretending that she was babbling over him. Leaning on her other foot, she smiled warmly.) But really, why are you here?

Wasn't really his style, nor would it be IMG's if you asked him, though he wasn't thinking that at the moment. Seemingly unintrested, he turned to take a drink of the scotch waiting patiently for him at the bar before he spoke. "Yeah? Doesn't seem like your style." Much the same as this place didn't seem like his. It wasn't that he looked down on her because she didn't have as much money as he did or something but because she looked like a common hooker and that was something he didn't go for.
