He found his parents like that and didn't really want to disturb them so he just asked a nurse to wait until they returned from wherever they were going and then let them know that Karlie had been released and Nick was taking her home. After that he headed right back to her, a smile playing on his face as he tipped his head to the side. "Are you ready to get out of here, sweetheart?"
