Author: Kenzi
Subject: She, on the hand, was completely at a loss about all of this. Her best friend was suddenly a grown up, with a kid and a husband and...a house..it was all crazy. Sure, Kenzi had a house but she shared it with her sister. It was like she had backtracked in maturity. When she was eighteen she had thought she was ready for marriage and a family and now it just seemed years away from her currently. She wasn't sure why they were still here, well, Kev must want to talk to Luke....and look at the baby again.

  • He was waiting for Luke to come out to discuss some thing or another to do with the shops, but in the meantime, was itching to go back and look through the window of the nursery and see the little squirming, squalling baby that had just arrived. Wandering up behind her, he slid his arms around her sides, resting his chin on her shoulder as his hands found themselves, palms flush against her smooth, flat stomach - once upon a time... and maybe someday soon, they would live happily ever after. "Whaddaya think, baby?" (NT) -- Kev, Mon, Jan 03 2005, 8:44pm PST
