Subject: She shrugged again, the whole idea of a child was still a little painful, maybe that was part of her problem. Her body seemed to tense a bit as he kept pushing the subject, her lip tucked between her teeth before she cleared her throat, stepping out of his embrace. "I am kinda thirsty..." She murmured, actually feeling a little out of sorts.

  • He let up, making some space between them physically - she'd already put up emotional and mental barriers, it seemed. His hands fell loose at his sides, and he nodded a bit. "I'll get you something, baby." He wasn't much for being aggressive, but he felt like this was an area that she needed to be pushed a little in or she would never come around to where she needed to be. He sighed a little bit, rubbing a hand through his dark hair as he made his way toward the vending machines in the hall away from the nursery - he was trying his best here.
