He read her like a book, the panic and uptightness that developed as soon as he said the word baby and shook his head a little bit. "Nevermind then." So maybe he wouldn't get to be a daddy in the next few months, and it pained him, but he'd wait for her - as long as.. at some point, she felt ready. That was his intent - to marry her and make little babies to carry on his stubbornness and good looks.
