He wandered in a while later - he bore gifts of junk food, Tim Horton's and McDonald's. He'd taken a shower, and was a much more composed image than he had been, leaving the hospital. He paused at the door and knocked quietly, poking his head in, a goofy smile encasing the new father's features.
