She was pacing in the waiting room, a frown on her lips, her eyes worried and shining with unshed tears. Kesi had been crying when the doctors had given her a shot, and the cries tore at Cassie's heart. Now they were just waiting for the results of some tests, and Cassie couldn't stand being in the cramped little room anymore...
