maybe that's the problem...too much competition for the sports dollar in a major market. I'm guessing there's less to do on an average saturday in a more rural market as compared to a market where there are two major cities within 20 miles of each other.

Of course, there's also a lot more opportunity for corporate sponsorship, which could add crucial dollars to help the program get off the ground. Maybe there's a big company in the area that would like to buy naming rights to the stadium or something?
