We caught a good team that played in the Alaska tourney so they probably weren't 100%. But the main thing is we took advantage of our opportunity.

I think like TCU kept sending waves of experienced players to wear down our new/young team last week, we may have done the same thing to NMSU--a lot of full-court press to zap their energy. And agressive post play. Lots of lay ups.

Shooting 60-70% ANYWHERE, especially at NMSU is a rare accomplishment. Not many teams go into Las Cruces and pull off a performance like that.

We're not ready for a Final Four berth or anything, but as far a confidence building win this will do wonders for our young team.
