I hate days like today. I had to get up really early to pick up my daughter from work. She was off at 6:45. I know, I know, those of you in school get up early every morning, but I'm not in school and I usually don't have to be to work until 9:15 or later, so I'm not really an early bird. I never have been and never will be - at least not in this lifetime.

Anyhoo, when I got back home with her, then I had to chase two of the cats around the house cos they had a dental cleaning scheduled at the vets. They had to be there between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m., and they couldn't have any food after 9:00 p.m. last night, so I had to bring them early so I could get back home and eat breakfast, cos if they can't eat, neither can I. I feel too guilty. Besides, they'd be in my face the whole time staring at me and the food. That wouldn't be fun. I thought of nuking my breakfast really fast and eating it in the bathroom, but I'd still feel guilty.

Anyhoo, today's supposed to be my day off, but we have a truck delivery at work, so of course, I volunteered to go in for the truck. I'd rather unload the truck than be on the register - no customers to deal with. Yay! That's supposed to be at noon - if it's on time, which is hardly ever.

I also have to go to Sam's (big warehouse-type store) to get a new tire for Wendy's car - that's a whole 'nother story. She went out drinking on Bourbon Street the other night and came home riding on three tires and a rim. Anyhoo, I'm waiting for Sam's to open at 10:00 so I can go get the tire. We were gonna go after the truck, but I don't really need her to go with me anyway, since I'm paying for it - 'nother story.

As if that isn't enough for me to do today on my day off, my husband and I have to go to a surprise birthday party at 7:00 tonight for a guy at his work.

Did I mention I'm PMSing big time????? and I have a gyno appointment on the 19th - I've been trying to get there since July, but between him delivering babies and my period (I'm pre-menopausal so I never know when it's coming anymore), I'm having a hard time getting to see him.

Anyhoo, I hope you all are having a better day than me.

I almost forgot - I have to call and check on Allie and Sissy (the cats) around 3:00 to find out when I can pick them up. I hate having to leave them there. I think I'm more nervous about it than they are. Of course, they cried all the way there.

May as well mention the chair while I'm here, have you guys heard about the box set that's due out on December 1st? I know what I want in my stocking this year - if I can wait that long to open it.
