ah bush...
well the thing is, i know pretty much nothing about politics so i really don't know much at all about the guy. i base it on the few things i do know, but i'm certainly not saying i'm right, i just know that i don't like him.

i first started hating him before he was president when i read an article about how many people were sentenced to death in texas. i think he was the governor and yeah, it basically seemed to be showing him to be a guy that kills first then asks the questions. like september 11. that situation pisses me off greatly. as soon as it happened, he did the whole tough guy thing and promised that the people responsible would pay blah blah. yeah and then afghanistan was bombed, with even more innocent afghans dying than the number of people killed on september 11. the media made him look like the hero but he was just murdering a massive amount of people. after all that, they didn't get osama anyway. he didn't seem to understand the whole reason why america was attacked in the first place, not that it should have happened.
(read here for stats on US violence overseas: http://www.bowlingforcolumbine.com/library/wonderful/index.php)

then in uni we studied the speech he made after the attacks and that made me pissed at him because it seemed as though he was treating everybody as total idiots. obviously he didn't write it, i mean there were words with more than 3 syllables in it, but as president you have control over what you say.

the iraq situation is also making me hate him. i wish he'd fucking stop talking about it every night like he has been for months or whatever. it's pretty obvious that iraq will be attacked. i would like to be able to look back and say 'oops, i was wrong there' but i don't think that will happen unfortunately. he's always going on about all this bloody evidence, so if he has it, why doesn't he attack already and stop threatening every night? and the fact that it looks likely there will be a war even if the UN doesn't agree. the UN is there for a reason. i hate the australian PM as well on this issue but i won't go into that.

he pisses me off because he is fucking dumb. it's fine to be like that, but not when you run the USA.

i hate him because he made Jim from jimmyeatworld upset tonight...haha, okay i don't really hate him for this. this state of union address of whatever it was called made Jim upset and he thought he fucked up the show. he was apologising heaps and feeling really bad for everyone, although from all accounts it wasn't a bad show at all.

the lyrics to "release the dogs" by boysetsfire are about the aftermath of 11/9:

In a moment of weakness they've gone for the throat
Prayers answered for the ruling classes, and we swallowed them whole
Heads down and hands up our need for safety has been hijacked again
They've got their fingers on the pulse of our mourning with knives poised
Decide- right now -which side you're on, invest our freedom in failure by design
Hands tied with pleasure now we're choking on their cum
Guided deception allegiance to a goal
That never mattered until they told us so
Blowback has blown back into our face and ignited a war
On home turf between control and our free will lines are drawn
Release the dogs, they've picked up the scent, moving in for the kill
Unchained and hungry teeth ready to feast
Release the dogs

like i said, i know pretty much nothing. it's all just about what i've heard and i'm presuming it's all true. for all i know he's a lovely guy doing a lot of good, but for now i will continue hating him :P
