guys! come on - don't get the wrong message. i would still adore gomez if they were as popular as the backstreet boys!!! all i wanted to know was WHY the sudden popularity?? HOW did they get so big all of a sudden?

i think their music is better than ever and i didn't like them ONLY cos they were low profile,(i like tonnes of 'big' bands) its just that there are gonna be hoards of grubby teens going out and buying the album cos its high on the charts. wouldn't every one agree that their music is definitely an aquired taste? do you think half the poeple that buy radiohead albums these days buy them cos they ACTUALLY like the music??its cos theyre trying to be cool and buy the latest craze. popularity can be good, but it can also suck. doesn't that piss any one off?
just a thought.
