you say you didn't like them "ONLY because they were low profile". you shouldn't like any band because they're less popular. popularity shouldn't be a factor. it's about music full-stop. i think that you could quite possibly be classified as one of these co-called "hoards of grubby teens" for being so shallow in the first place for liking gomez simply because of their low profile.
also, maybe these "hoards of grubby teens" as you call them may become enlightened after purchasing gomez music and discover how to listen to music simply for it's quality.
so what if radiohead and gomez et al are becoming popular. i say bring it on! (heh heh, nice cheesy finish to my message!)
