PLEASE SUMMARISE!!!" on 14:38:57 02/21/02 Thu i dont think gomez are a cult band any more in the uk. they certainly arent heavyweights selling bucketloads but their music is respected far and wide. they have the mercury music prize under their belts (for what its worth), have played high up on festival bills such as leeds/reading and have had their music on soundtracks such as that for american beauty. so i wouldnt call them cult, more underground.
