Everyone got used to them and didn't bother to cover up when one was in our dressing room. Looking back I don't think they would let them (college female trainers) have such freedom these days. Why is it in our society that it ok for a female to look and touch a nude male when it wouldn't be ok for the situation to be reversed where it was a male trainers from college would get the run of a female soccer teams locker room, or a volleyball teams showers and dressing room. I can't imagine a male trainers hand over a females bare genitals while he preformed some work on her upper thighs. There has been no stories of boys who are four years older than their sisters being in the examination room when the doctor was examining there little sister. There is a double standard here that allows females to look at nude males and not vice versa. I would like to tell this short story about my experience that helps make my point. It might help if I explained that I am from what could be called a family of Okies. We do a lot of our own doctoring with homemade medicines and don't go to a doctor unless we are in a real emergency. We were camped, four families, in a camp site away from any other campers during deer season. We were coming into camp one evening, and I was half way off the back of the pickup truck when a dog ran in front of the truck. The driver hit the brakes and I fell off the back of the truck. I hit the ground running and ran a few feet before my upper body went faster than my legs and I slid several feet down a cinder road on my belly. When I got to my feet, I was missing a lot of hide from my left shoulder to my ankles. I was sixteen at the time, mostly grown, and pretty tough. Well ,not so tough maybe. Most of my clothes were in shreds because cinders do that. much tougher than cloth. I also had most of the front of me covered with blood. When I hobbled into camp, much excitement happened and the women went to work. One of our eating tables had a heavy quilt doubled and spread over it, and I was deposited on it on my back. I was handled quite efficiently and soon my ragged clothes were cut off me. Two large wash pans were filled and the blood was soon cleaned off enough to see what my wounds were. A lot of loose skin had to be trimmed off and a lot of medicines were applied and no stitches were needed. All of my clothes had been cut off and I was laying there as naked as a j-bird as we used to say. Here's the point I was about to make. Every female in camp who was twelve or older was gathered around that table. At least four women had been touching me at on time, and as they got done they pushed the smaller girls forward so they could see what was happening. It didn't matter that two of the twelve year olds were only two or three feet from my sixteen year old penis, with a very good closeup. Any boys at all would not have been allowed to get that kind of a look at a naked sixteen year old girl. Why the double standard? From a doctors exam room to a boon dock camp table, why is it O. I was amazed to read that hardly anyone took showers after P.E. We had P.E. twice a week starting in the fourth grade and it was a day of school I never missed. I liked the sports competition but I really liked the hot showers that was required after the P.E. part was done. I lived with my Dad and we didn't have hot water until we moved just before I went into high school. Up until we moved, my bath experience was with my younger cousin in a long galvinized bath tub with water heated on a wood stove. I was used to Saturday baths that way and had been taking them since I was six years old. I bathed in that tub until I was fifteen and we moved. My aunt used to wash our hair when we were young and scrub us down with a big old wash cloth and pore water over us to rinse us off. I never was uncomfortable with getting a bath that way, and when I started showering after P.E., I wasn't bothered by the female gym teacher walking thru the dressing room. My aunt wasn't and old lady and that helped since our gym teachers were in their twenties. I even got a few looks at my aunt when she was in the tub. Three classes in each grade and about 25 students in each class. The school had a gymnasium attached and we made use of it. It had a basketball court, with showers and locker rooms for boys and girls. The boys and girls had our classes together. We only had gym Tuesdays and Thursdays when we were in the 4th grade and Monday, Wednesday and Friday when we were in the 5th and 6th grades. We had all female teachers including the principle who was also one of the regular teachers. Which ever class had P.E., that teacher was our gym teacher. Like I said I never had a problem with them in our locker room. They handed out towels, made sure we showered and made sure we picked up our towels and locked our gym clothes in our baskets. The bald hornet makes these round paper nests and they are highly protective of them. Their stings are the most painful of all the wasp,yellow jacket, hornet stinging critters, in my opinion. Also they attack in a swarm. He was froze and was getting stung when I ran to his aid, climbing the tree and carrying him to the ground and away from the tree. I had some painful stings but my son had at least eighteen or twenty and some of them were through his shirt and pants. I was ready to load up and head for town to the doctor when my stepdaughter took control. She said I can stop the pain if you will let me and will help me. She said strip him down so I can see where he was stung. She mixed water from the creek and dirt and made mud patches that she patted on each of the stings. Each of the patches were three or four inches across and an inch thick. I took his shirt off and she put patches on his face and chest and back. She said he's stung on the legs too, get his pants off. He wasn't wearing any underwear and I would have had to remove them if he had because he had some stings on his butt abd three on the front of him but think goodness none of them were on his privates. She didn't hesitate to look him over, and to touch him as needed to put the patches of mud on him. All of my stings were above the waist but I have no doubt she would have had my pants off if she had of thought I had a sting that needed some mud on it. I learned at least two things that day. My son is redheaded and with in a half hour the pain was gone and you could hardly tell that he had been stung, and also girls as well as women are supposed to do the doctoring if it needs to be done. My wife was proud of her and said if she had been along she and her daughter would have been doctoring him. My wife did get him in the shower and washed the mud off and msde sure the stings had all gone down. Her daughter was there and my son didn;t complain. Some time back I wrote a reply to a former student who had a bad experience with a school nurse and I also had about the same thing happen to me. If for any reason you had to have your privates looked at and got an erection, the nurse would strike the head of your penis with a pencil with a large rubber eraser on the end of it. It not only caused your erection to disappear but also hurt like hell. Fear of the pencil has caused me to go home with an injury rather than run the risk of having to lower my pants for any reason. Anyway, he received a full body physical as well as being hypnotized as well as receiving acupuncture. The same thing he writes about is almost identical to the experience I had back in the eighties in San Francisco. I was twenty eight or nine when I went thru this stop smoking treatment. A friend of mine also went to her but he said after his physical she tried to hypnotize him but she was done in a half hour. His total time in her office was about an hour and I was in for over three hours. Anyway, I think more than just hypnotizing and acupuncture took place on my naked body. For years after her treatment, just the thought of being hypnotized by her would cause me to have an erection. A serious erection. I want to know if anybody has had that experience in San Francisco. Also has anybody been hypnotized to quit smoking and felt like something more happened. Has anybody been hypnotized and been taken advantage of. Exams for school were done at the family doctors office. If you didn't have a family doctor, the school district would provide an exam at a school gymnasium free of charge. I heard bad things about these exams but I never was subjected to one. I use the term "subjected" because of the stories that I heard from students who underwent these exams. It would seem that the fact of a lower standard of living often showed in the personal overall cleanliness of some of these soon to be students. Hot water from a faucet was unusual and most got their baths Saturday or Sunday in a galvanized tub normally used for washing clothes. Wash up during the week was done in a wash pan. Clothes off physicals revealed the grime that once a week baths tend to leave behind. I'm not saying all the kids had this problem, but enough did so the nurses and even sometimes the doctors spoke unkindly to the children who had to go to them for their physical exams. Young nurses from families who were better off sometimes were just plain mean to the younger children who had to sometimes spend what must have seemed to them, a long time standing nude waiting. Conversations between nurses spoken loud enough for the child to hear was hurtful. Things like "I didn't know whether to put him down as a boy or girl, his penis was so small". Or, I did that exam super fast, his smell hurried me along. Or, we should send a bar of soap home with each of these kids, along with instructions on how to use it. Mostly, I think, it was done because schools had to do it for insurance requirements. The doctor who did the exams probably got the contract for doing it the cheapest. I don't think we had the same doctor every year. As a matter of fact, three of my four years in high school, a female doctor did the exams. One nurse observed, and wrote in a file. The exams were pretty basic, like blood pressure, listened to the heart and lungs, checked eyesight, checked spine, and checked for hernia. It was all done quickly, and probably cheaply. The preschool physical done by my regular doctor was sometimes fun. Both of his nurses were young and cute and liked to tease me when the doctor wasn't in the examining room. I had to strip down to be weighed and that was the first thing done. I was given a gown but it was off more than on. They each checked me for a hernia before the doctor even entered the room. The school only had about thirty students between first and eighth grades. We had two teachers and we didn't have a school nurse. When we moved to California, it was like a different world. The school was huge. I don't know how many kids went there, but I heard that there was about three hundred students in each grade. I was required to have a physical and the school provided them for students who didn't have a regular doctor, or just wanted to save money, whatever reason. Since I had just moved there, we didn't have a family doctor yet, so my physical was done at school. I was also required to have two more vaccinations to get my shot record up to what California required. That was taken care of at a local clinic,no charge. The physical was done at the high school gym, and was done without a lot of privacy. The girls were done at a different gym so there was no conflict there. The gym was set up to have six examining rooms. The rooms were curtained off and were about twelve by twelve feet. There was three doctors and they each worked between two rooms. When the doctor finished hi exam he went across to the other examining room, where the student was ready for him. when I went in to the exam room there was two women there. One was a nurse and one was a teacher. The nurse told me to get undressed, every thing, she said. She checked my weight , height and checked my eye sight, and blood pressure . The teacher, who was to be my teacher that year, wrote down what ever the nurse told her. When the doctor came in she told me her name and went right into examining me. She did a full exam and it only took about six or seven minutes and she was gone to the other examining room. I was wondering how they could examine so many kids but it was a pretty good assembly line exam. I didn't know what to expect to happen, because I had never had a physical before. When she pulled her little stool up in front of me and started checking my pubic area, I was caught off guard. She felt my penis up and down,I have been circumcised, so it was mostly visual checking. She felt my testicles and had me cough as she checked me for a hernia. Some where along there I developed an erection. I was in the midst of reaching puberty, so the erection was quite noticeable. I was embarrassed, but she didn't seem to notice even though it was right in her face. This is usually the case in primary schools with pre-pubescent students, but in some remote villages with a small number of students and mixed classes of children of different ages, students of pubescent age like you may also be the subject of such examinations. There is nothing wrong with this, since as minors, the little patients are already accompanied by an adult chaperone, very often female. In these small communities, the teacher usually knows the parents of her students personally, enjoys unquestionable trust and authority, and her presence at these examinations can hardly be the subject of any dispute or opposition. Such places are not particularly desirable for visiting by medical personnel because of the poor infrastructure, the makeshift environment and the lack of amenities, so the teacher is often successfully used as a substitute for the usual doctor's assistant. It takes place in a small town in Oregon, and involves my wife and her sister and my wife's nephew and his close friend who was living with my wife's sister and her husband. My wife, Sandy and I were getting ready to bar-b-que one summer after noon when her nephew, Jimmy came rushing in all excited saying we had to go to the hospital with him. His friend Randy, who's the foster child living with him and his mother, Linda, had an accident and was in the hospital and a parent was needed to sign papers so he could be treated. Jimmy said his mother was shopping in the large town south of us and he couldn't get in touch with her. He said we could sign the permission slip because the people at the hospital didn't know we weren't his guardians. I wasn't about to sign papers that could get me in some real legal problems, but would go to the hospital and see what could be done. We went to the little three bed hospital that served our town, and checked with the receptionist to find out about Randy. We were shown to a curtained off examining room where we were metby a young doctor who hurried over to meet us. Let me enter the fact that we didn't know Randy well, just that he was a shy fifteen year old, well behaved kid. The young doctor who seemed very nervous was trying to make us understand that the injury looked much worse than it was. Since we hadn't told anyone we were Randy's parents we just let them assume we were. He said that Randy had fallen down a hillside and either a stump or a rock had made contact with him between the legs and caused the injury. It's called a hydrocell he said, and it looks much worse than it is. It's just an accumulation of fluid between the layers of skin around his testicles and penis. It's looking much worse than it is he said again. He thought that my wife was Randy's mother and pulled back the curtain so we could see what the injury looked like. Randy lay there with a small towel covering his privates. The doctor motions my wife right up to the side of the bed and removes the towel from Randy's rather huge set of testicles and swollen penis and starts showing my wife how tight the skin was and how heavy it was. He takes my wife's hand and puts it under Randy's scrotum and says see how heavy it is. He says, feel of his penis. It may not look like it but its down in there and it isn't damaged, but it won't hurt to examine it when the swelling goes down some. My wife's eyes are wide with wonder as she has, I'm sure never seen a penis that large or a set of balls that huge. she Kept on feeling and pulling his penis away from his scrotum. I swear his penis was bigger around than her wrist. I should say that I believe that Randy was a shy kid and having this woman who he hardly knew feeling him and actually couldn't get enough of touching him, was embarrassing him terribly. The doctor then gave her detailed instructions on how to apply ice packs and heat pads when we got him home. When we got him to Linda's house I carried him into his bedroom and placed him on his bed and weny and set down in the living room. My wife busied herself with making an ice pack and she wet some washrags to heat in the micro wave. I went back a few minutes later and saw her put a warm washrag on hi scrotum, and she started examining his penis again. I don't know how muchnursing it took but she stayed there till her sister came home, and she explained all the doctor had told her and showed her sister, by feeling, everything the doctor had showed her. I did see that the swelling had goe down on his penis and you could see the head of it pretty well. When I had went back earlier my wife ws rolling the head of it between her thumb and finger. I don't know how well endowed he was but I think my wife stayed there with her sister till the swelling went down. By the way, the doctor gave Randy some pain pills that kept him from caring about what my wife and her sister did to him.
