Shelly that is so awful. But you know what. Maybe the experience she got with the hospital clean out will break some resistance to her still holding in her stools. That is an experience no child would ever want to repeat. Sadly too too many kids of all ages are cleaned out this way because the parents refuse to give the child an enema.

Is she enrolled back in your local school yet? Have you and mom come to an agreement that you are in fact going to board her again? Get her back on her Metamucil right away and a soapsuds and then rinse enemas every week for a while until you see what she is retaining.

I have over forty children grandchildren and greatgrandchildren that receive weekly or bi-weekly clean out enemas and not one of them ever attempted to withhold their stool. They get put on the toilet as soon as legs get crossed and face starts turning red.

About 4 out of 10 children the first two years in school will start withholding and poop in their pants at least twice. You aren't letting your boys do that and you can break her of doing it if you get her back.

She had bonded on you because you helped her to stay clean and free from the awful accidents. You are not starting from scratch with her so she will do well I'm sure.

AV and Maude. You know how much I get my strength from your support. She is moving back in this afternoon. I haven't told her yet but I'm going to have to clean her out tonight because her mom says she has caught her trying to hide with legs crossed and locked and face turning red yesterday. And there are two pair of her underwear missing from the last 7 days alone. I've got to get her emptied to send her off to school tomorrow. Mom says she is even more hateful and defiant and tells her that it is none of her business or right to try to make her go to the bathroom. I had to break her of her attitude once and if I have to I will do it again. A shock and awe clean out like you say AV may be just the ticket she needs to get that sassy attitude washed out of her head.

Shelly,
I am going to just say it, do whatever you have to do. You know it’s for her own good. She doesn’t understand that. But if shock and awe is what is needed, then shock and awe is what is needed. A deep cleansing with your nozzle is what she needs. Make her feel better and get rid of that attitude as well.
Wish you the best! Please keep us posted.
