Subject: JVC HM-DH30000U firewire

I have purchased four of these fantastic decks for use as HDTV 1080i test sorces. I know that there are previous posts concerning how to capture video on Win XP via firewire. Has anyone figured out how to capture video on Win2000? I tried connecting to a MAC G4 and so far the MAC won't recognize the JVC deck connected to the firewire port. Has anyone been able to capture video on a MAC G4. I just need to capture about 10 seconds of 1080i for a test. Maybe I will have to load a PC with Win XP to capture the video.
