does the Sony sat-hd200 high definition sat. reciever have an ieee 1394 firewire connection for my d-vhs?

So far nobody has been able to wire/flash/upgrade (whatever) the DV input of the DVHS recorders to become an output also. It seems it was not planned when our decks were made. The japanese versions allow this, though, so it makes one wonder indeed.

I'm not sure the DV in will accept anything else than a miniDV signal ; I don't know anything about sat receivers as far as what their digital output signals are (if any).

But a previous thread of this forum shows how to use a PC program to have a D deck and a PC work together. Beware: it seems very complicated.
