I have Premiere 6.0, a Pinnacle Pro One card and a DR10000EK with similar problems.

I hooked up my video camera to the other firewire port, Sony DCR VX2000E which can handle input with Firewire as well as output, changed the output device to the camera and it started working on both.

Looks like you have to fool the software/video card in to thinking it is outputting to another video camera/Other firewire device to recored it on your DR10000EK.
